Kitab Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad karangan Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni merupakan kitab klasik mengandungi aspek Targhib wa Tarhib, yang tersebar luas di Asia Tenggara, khususnya Indonesia. Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni banyak merujuk hadith-hadith Nabi SAW di antaranya adalah hadith Da’if dan Mawdu’. Kitab ini pula banyak mengandungi hadith Da’if dan Mawdu’ yang menjadi rujukan dan amalan sehari-hari bagi warga pesantren Mustafawiyah Purba Baru dan Tawalib Parabek Sumatera Indonesia. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengetahuan dan amalan hadith Da’if dan Mawdu’ dalam kitab Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad oleh warga pesantren di Sumatera Indonesia. Kepentingan kajian ini adalah untuk mendedahkan hadith Da’if dan Mawdu’ dalam kitab Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad yang dijadikan amalan oleh warga pesantren Mustafawiyah Purba Baru dan Tawalib Parabek di Sumatera (Indonesia). Kajian ini dijalankan di Sumatera (Sumatera Barat dan Sumatera Utara) Indonesia dengan melibatkan seramai 210 orang responden yang terdiri daripada warga pesantren Mustafawiyah Purba Baru dan Pesantren Tawalib Parabek. Sampel terdiri daripada 10 hadis da’if dan Mawdu’ yang  terdapat dalam kitab Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif yang berbentuk soal selidik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengenal pasti tahap pengetahuan dan amalan hadis Da’if dan Mawdu’ dalam kalangan warga pesantren di Sumatera (Indonesia). Nilai kebolehpercayaan Alpha Cronbach bagi keseluruhan item soal selidik adalah tinggi, iaitu 0.825. Hasil kajian mendapati tahap pengetahuan responden terhadap hadis Da’if dan Mawdu’ yang disebarkan ialah sebanyak 3.35 dan min tahap amalan responden terhadap hadis tersebut ialah sebanyak 3.19. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa warga pesantren Mustafawiyah Purba Baru dan Tawalib Parabek di Sumatera Indonesia majoriti mengetahui hadis yang disebarkan dan beramal dengannya.

ABSTRACT

The book of Nasa’ih al-’Ibad by Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni is a classic book containing aspects of Targhib wa Tarhib which is widespread in Southeast Asia especially Indonesia. Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni refers to many hadiths of the Prophet SAW among them are da’if and mawdu’ hadiths. This book also contains da’if and mawdu’ hadiths which are referenced and practiced by the majority of residents in Mustafawiyah Purba Baru’s pesantren and Tawalib Parabek’s pesantren in Sumatra, Indonesia.Therefore, this study aims to explore the level of knowledge and practice of da’if and mawdu’ hadiths in the book Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad by the pesantren’s residents in Sumatra, Indonesia. The importance of this study is to reveal the da’if and mawdu’ hadiths in the book Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad which was practiced by the pesantren’s residents in Sumatra, Indonesia. This study was conducted in Sumatra (West and North Sumatra), Indonesia by involving 210 respondents consisting of the residents in Mustafawiyah Purba Baru’s pesantren and Tawalib’s pesantren in Sumatra, Indonesia. The sample consists of 10 familiar da’if and mawdu’ hadiths. This study uses a quantitative method in the form of questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively to identify the level of knowledge and practice of da’if and mawdu’ hadiths among the respondents. The Cronbach’s Alpha reliability value for the finding is high, i.e. 0.827. The results of the study found that the level of knowledge of the respondents on the da’if and mawdu’ hadiths that was disseminated is 3.35 and the mean level of practice of hadith by the respondents is 3.81. The results of this study show that the majority of the residents in Mustafawiyah Purba Baru’s pesantren and Tawalib Parabek’s pesantren in Sumatra, Indonesia knows the sampled hadiths and also is practiced to others.
