KULIAH TIDAK SEGERAK UNTUK PENGAJARAN DALAM TALIAN BAGI BIOKIMIA PERUBATAN
Abstract
Berikutan pandemik COVID-19, pelajar perubatan dikehendaki menghadiri kelas dalam talian. Pembelajaran jarak jauh melalui kuliah dalam talian adalah pengalaman baharu untuk pelajar perubatan tahun pertama dan adalah perlu untuk dijalankan kajian bagi menilai persepsi pelajar perubatan terhadap kuliah dalam talian dan bentuk kuliah dalam talian yang lebih baik; sama ada segerak atau tidak segerak. Soal selidik ringkas telah disediakan secara dalam talian kepada dua kohort pelajar perubatan tahun satu (sesi 2020/2021 dan 2021/2022), dengan sejumlah 206 pelajar yang telah mengambil bahagian. Kuliah segerak diistilahkan sebagai kuliah penstriman langsung, manakala kuliah tak segerak diwakili sebagai kuliah video pra-rakam. Data menunjukkan bahawa majoriti responden 1) tinggal di kawasan bandar, 2) menggunakan jalur lebar rumah untuk kelas dalam talian, 3) menunjukkan sambungan Internet di rumah mereka baik untuk kuliah siaran langsung, dan 4) berasa selesa dengan kuliah dalam talian, dengan pola kesemua data ini adalah konsisten antara dua kohort. Menariknya kebanyakan responden memilih video kuliah yang dirakamkan daripada kuliah dalam talian penstriman langsung dan menunjukkan video kuliah yang dirakamkan sebagai lebih efektif untuk pembelajaran pelajar. Majoriti responden bersetuju dengan semua sebab mengapa mereka lebih suka video pra-rakam pensyarah. Majoriti responden mencadangkan YouTubeTM sebagai pelantar untuk menonton video kuliah pra-rakam. Kebanyakan responden mengesyorkan bahawa durasi yang ideal bagi setiap kuliah video pra-rakam adalah lebih daripada 15 minit. Kesimpulannya, kuliah tak segerak bukan sahaja lebih disukai oleh pelajar, tetapi juga dianggap sebagai bentuk kuliah dalam talian yang lebih berkesan. Dapatan ini penting untuk pensyarah dalam menentukan kaedah penyampaian kuliah yang paling sesuai untuk pembelajaran pelajar.
