Role of School Principal Leadership in Building of Team Learning at Secondary School in Soppeng District
Abstract
This study is to analyze the role of principals in building of teachers’ a team learning in Secondary Schools State Marioriwawo of Soppeng district. The sample consisted of 122 teachers’ in Secondary Schools State Marioriwawo of Soppeng district. This study used a questionnaire designed by the researchers and tested in advance to ensure validity and reliability by conducting a pilot study and then analyzed using the Alpha Cronbach and Alpha value found for the role of leadership is 0.782. While the Alpha value of teachers’ a team learning was 0.769. Indicators of latent variables role of leadership and teachers of a team learning in this study is a signifi cant predictor. The fi ndings of the structural equation model also shows that role of leadership has a signifi cant infl uence teachers’ of a team learning in schools. Therefore, principals were expected to play a role of leadership more eff ectively in the school so that teachers’ of a team learning can be better.
